What to pack for a night in the desert
The list we send to every traveller 48 hours before departure.
The desert is hot by day and cold at night: between 5 and 12 degrees from October to April. Here is what actually matters.
The essentials
A fleece or warm jacket, a head torch, sunscreen, a scarf against the sand wind, closed shoes and a reusable water bottle.
What is already provided
Blankets, mattresses, towels at the camp and water during the drive. No need for a sleeping bag.
What people forget
A power bank: there is no socket at the camp. And a small backpack, since your suitcase stays in the vehicle during the camel ride.
