An independent tool
GDS Trainer is published independently. It has no commercial, technical or legal link with Amadeus IT Group SA, its subsidiaries or partners, nor with other global distribution systems (GDS), airlines, airports or providers mentioned on the site.
It is not the Amadeus product, not a demo version and not access to the live system.
No connection to any live system
- The simulator runs entirely in your browser and on our servers. It is not connected to any GDS, airline or ticket settlement system.
- No real booking, ticket, seat or payment is ever created.
- Record locators, ticket numbers, fares, taxes, availability and schedules are fictitious and generated for practice.
- Never enter a real payment card in the simulator.
What the simulator reproduces
Entries and displays are inspired by the cryptic mode used in the industry so that the training is useful. They are teaching approximations: formats, rules and messages may differ from the live system, be simplified or not cover every case.
Before working on a live system, always refer to your provider's official documentation and your company's procedures.
Trademarks
"Amadeus" and the other product, GDS, airline or service names mentioned are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to describe the subject of the training (descriptive use), with no claim of ownership or partnership.
The GDS Trainer name and logo belong to the publisher of this website.
Reference data
Airports, airlines and routes come from the public OpenFlights database, made available under the Open Database License (ODbL). This data may be incomplete or out of date.
