We will start our day trip to Essaouira at 08:00 am, with a stop at an argan cooperative to see local women extracting argan oil. Continuing to Essaouira, we may encounter nomads with tree-climbing goats. In Essaouira, you can either hire a guide or explore on your own. The city is easy to navigate and features attractions like Portuguese fortifications, Bab Laalouj, the Mellah, the harbor, and Kasbah La Scala. After sightseeing and a seafood lunch, we will return to Marrakech, arriving around 6:00 pm.
After gathering the group around 08:00 am, we will embark on a day trip to Essaouira, one of the hidden gems of the Atlantic coast. En route, we will visit an argan cooperative, where local women diligently extract oil from argan nuts. This oil is prized for its use in cosmetics and various Moroccan dishes. After our visit to the cooperative, we will continue our journey to Essaouira, hoping to spot nomads and their goats climbing trees along the way.
Upon arrival in Essaouira, your group will have the option to hire a local guide or explore the city together. Unlike other Moroccan medinas, Essaouira is easy to navigate and will captivate you from the moment you step onto its streets. As you stroll through the city, you will encounter the Portuguese fortifications, Bab Laalouj, the Mellah (old Jewish quarter), the harbor with its fishing port, and Kasbah La Scala, built in 1765 for defense.
After sightseeing, the group can enjoy a seafood lunch on the terrace of a local restaurant, sharing the experience and enjoying the company of fellow travelers. Once the visit is complete, we will return to Marrakech via the same route, arriving around 6:00 pm. This group experience not only allows you to explore the beautiful city of Essaouira but also to create lasting memories and friendships along the way.
